We stopped filling templates. The model designs every video now.

For a year, Monkeygun made a video the way most tools do: pick a layout, fill in the blanks, render. It worked, and every video looked like a sibling of the last one.

This week we changed the engine. Claude Opus 5.5 now designs each video from scratch: the layout, the motion, the chart, the jokes and the voiceover lines. A real browser records the result frame by frame into an MP4.

That video started as one thing: a token address. Four minutes later it existed, voiced, checked, and honest about the catch.

How a video gets made

• We pull the source: a live data feed, a web page, a report, or a brief.

• The model writes the whole video as code, in one of eleven looks, from a trading terminal to a comic book to a nature documentary.

• A quality check renders it and rejects overlapping text, low contrast, broken timing or anything that would look wrong on a phone. The model fixes what fails.

• ElevenLabs records one line per beat, timed to the cut, over a beat that lands on every scene change.

It cannot make up a number

This is the part we care about most. The model never types a figure. Every number on screen and in the voiceover goes through a slot that our code fills from the source. If the model writes a number itself, the check sends the video back. That is what makes this usable for exchanges, brokerages and anyone with a compliance team.

It does not have one look

Data videos lead with the numbers. Story videos lead with the plot: a mock trailer, a courtroom drama, a comic about a cat that got equity, with GIF cutaways doing the comedy. The look is picked per video, so a feed never reads like a template.

What it costs

About twenty to thirty-five cents of model time and under a minute of rendering per short. A designed video is 480 credits up to thirty seconds, and a token video on tokenslop is $12.99.
